What You'll Do: As a Receptionist at our clinic, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. Your role will involve managing telephone calls, scheduling appointments, handling patient inquiries, and maintaining patient records. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic by providing efficient administrative support to our healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will also include billing and processing financial transactions, along with maintaining a welcoming and organized reception area.

Who You Are: We are looking for a candidate who is personable, professional, and highly organized. You should have excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in a healthcare setting and be adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable using healthcare management software and have a keen eye for detail, especially when handling patient records and financial transactions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.

  • Proficiency in Oscar WELL EMR and Microsoft Outlook.

  • Knowledge of healthcare management software such as Oceans.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • COVID-19 vaccination as per regulatory requirements.

Bonus Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in office administration or a related field.

  • Experience with medical billing and insurance claims.

  • Fluency in a second language relevant to our patient community.

  • Training in WHIMs or other safety protocols.
