As a carpenter or apprentice carpenter, you will take on a range of tasks that are crucial to the construction of high quality, bespoke homes. Your duties will include helping with various carpentry tasks, such as creating frame structures, applying exterior paint and carrying out roofing work. You will learn to interpret building plans accurately to ensure that all constructions comply with the planning specifications. Under the guidance of experienced carpenters, you will gain valuable hands-on experience and improve your skills in a learning-oriented environment. You will also play an active role in maintaining safety and cleanliness on construction sites, strictly adhering to safety protocols and constructively participating in team meetings to help with project planning and problem solving.
