We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team and support the financial operations of our growing business. This role is essential in ensuring accurate financial records and smooth day-to-day accounting processes.
Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Process payroll, invoices, and payments in a timely manner.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including preparing and filing sales tax returns and assisting with annual tax preparations.
Manage inventory tracking and cost accounting related to masonry supplies and products.
Collaborate with the management team to monitor expenses, track vendor payments, and optimize financial workflows.
Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) to streamline operations and generate reports.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and responding to financial inquiries from internal stakeholders.
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role, preferably in a supply, construction, or retail environment (2+ years preferred).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping best practices.
Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other financial tools.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
Familiarity with payroll processing and tax compliance.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a small team.
