What You'll Do As an Office Manager/Front Desk, you will play a critical role in managing our front office operations and ensuring smooth day-to-day activities. Your responsibilities will include scheduling patient appointments, managing financial transactions, overseeing patient records and compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining an organized and efficient work environment. You will also handle staff coordination, lead team meetings, and implement office policies that enhance patient care and office productivity.

Who You Are You are a professional with a passion for healthcare management and excellent interpersonal skills. You have experience in office management, preferably in a healthcare setting, and are proficient in using dental management software like Open Dental, iDentalSoft, Practice-Web. You are an effective communicator, capable of resolving conflicts and leading a team under pressure. Your organizational skills are top-notch, and you have a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in both scheduling and financial management.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business administration or healthcare management preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of office management experience, ideally in a healthcare or dental setting.

  • Proficiency in office and dental management software.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Available to work in-office in Thunder Bay, with flexibility for occasional extended hours.

  • Advanced certifications in office or healthcare management.

  • Experience in a dental office environment.

  • Multilingual capabilities to serve a diverse patient base.
