About the Role
Finn Way is looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator to lead safety on our construction sites across Northwestern Ontario. You’ll be splitting your time between the office and the field—running orientations, managing documentation, conducting site inspections, and keeping our COR™ certification sharp. If you know the OHSA inside-out and thrive in fast-paced environments, this is for you.
What You’ll Do
Deliver new hire orientations and manage safety records
Conduct site inspections and enforce compliance with OHSA and COR™
Write and update Safe Job Procedures, Safe Work Practices, and Job Hazard Analyses
Support WSIB claims and incident tracking
Set up safety infrastructure at job sites
Coordinate and lead safety training for workers and subcontractors
What You Bring
Strong knowledge of Ontario’s OHSA and construction safety regs
Experience with safety documentation and site inspections
Solid communication and organizational skills
Microsoft Office proficiency
Valid Ontario driver’s license
NCSO or CRSP certification preferred
Other Details
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and travel to job sites as needed
Based in Thunder Bay or willing to relocate before starting
